Our second vacation to Lakeside resort for our two families for Thanksgiving weekend it was superb! The kids had so much fun in all the different activities fishing shuffleboard ping pong eagle spotting canoeing kayaking campfires and story telling. I do believe we have had the vacation of our life’s and extremely relaxing for us as well as engaging in all the Lakeside activities and above all therapeutic especially for the people from hectic and stressful city life. We arrived a day late due to flight delays in Scotland we were very tired and what did we find on arrival at Lakeside Cottages the warmest welcome the coziest spotless cottage and the most comfortable beds! Up with the birds early morning we found ourselves in heaven fishing in Paradise as Ted dreamed of coming to Canada since he was a boy. Had a brilliant time and hope to return again. It was so great to have 2 weeks in Paradise this year. We have really relaxed Mark loved being pulled around in the tube and will be talking about his big Bass he caught for the next few years. Our friends Ann & Alisha joined us for 3 days our grandchildren joined us the second week loved the sandy beach and did not want to leave. Our daughter Christine enjoyed the horseback riding and we all enjoyed Tom’s singing playing guitar at the campfire and star gazing. We are already talking and planning holidays for next summer. It only seems like yesterday Mike was offering to help us unload. Chard Amy and myself mastered the skill of fishing. Nancy enjoyed Mike’s campfire quiz and meeting up with friends from last year. From the moment we arrived the welcome we received was the best we have ever had. After the first five minutes talking with Mike I realized his knowledge was the best in Carp fishing “top notch”. We really had a great 3 weeks here at cottage 6 the honeymoon suite! Our Wedding was the best day and the day before Richard had his PB fish.
